Since I’ve drawn this favorite food a few times, I wanted to mix is up and try a different technique. I borrowed pointillism and made lots of dots into miso ramen, my favorite kind of ramen. There is nothing like the depth of flavor from a broth cooked for 12+ hours, homemade noodles, marinated soft boiled eggs, fresh veggies and tender pork. YUM!
I loved living in Japan and having the chance to explore this part of my heritage. This series is a collection of icons, inventions, and memories experienced in this amazing country.
