I started my journey into the art world as a little kid. Some of my clearest childhood memories are in my room, sitting at my little table drawing with every color in the marker box.
The name Tama belonged to my Japanese great grandmother. I want my business to have the ability to change and grow as I do as an artist and maker, while still remembering where I come from.
The pieces I make help me work through challenging events and emotional rollercoasters. I am able to be free and controlled within my artwork, honoring my drive to achieve perfection without allowing it to control me.
Welcome to Tama Press.
