P is for Pachinko - Original
“P is for Pachinko” - part of my drawing series Japan A to Z
8” x 10” (unframed size)
Frame included in price
Paint pens on paper
A pachinko machine is kind of like a vertical pinball machine except that instead of one big ball, there are lots of small steel ones. My grandma’s friend owned a pachinko machine. I remember playing with it when we visited and really enjoyed watching the balls bounce around. I based this drawing off of a vintage machine, which I prefer over the modern ones.
I loved living in Japan and having the chance to explore this part of my heritage. This series is a collection of icons, inventions, and memories experienced in this amazing country.
