Ocha means “tea”, usually referring to green tea. When I used to go to my grandma’s house, she would make us strong green tea and put out some nilla wafers as a snack. Then she would tell me stories from her childhood. I miss visiting with her.
I loved living in Japan and having the chance to explore this part of my heritage. This series is a collection of icons, inventions, and memories experienced in this amazing country.
