Inktober Day 22 - Beacon
One of the first more serious pieces of art I made was trying to replicate one of Edward Hopper’s beautiful lighthouses for extra credit in high school art history. I wanted the credit but more than that, I was encouraged by my amazing teacher Mr. Brown.
This lighthouse might need bit of help.
This is an original pen and ink drawing - part of my collection of work based on a list of prompts for Inktober 2026. Inktober is a free international drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. For each day in October, artists interpret a prompt in their own unique way.
