Inktober Day 13 - Flimsy
When I was a kid, my dad asked me once if I wanted to play a card game. Of course I said yes, and he says “let’s play 52 pickup!” I hadn’t heard of any card games other than war, so i enthusiastically agreed - which was when he made the deck of cards shoot into the air & rain down to the floor. 😭
So that’s the memory that popped up when I was looking for reference pics for a flimsy house of cards.
This is an original pen and ink drawing - part of my collection of work based on a list of prompts for Inktober 2026. Inktober is a free international drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. For each day in October, artists interpret a prompt in their own unique way.
