Inktober 2025 - Pierce - Day 6
Inktober Day 6 - Pierce
One of the first styles of bookbinding I learned was Japanese stab binding - where you pierce through the entire book and sew through those holes, usually in a decorative pattern.
This is an original pen and ink drawing - part of my collection of work based on a list of prompts for Inktober 2025. Inktober is a free international drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. For each day in October, artists interpret a prompt in their own unique way.
