Inktober Day 17 - Storm

I’ve experienced so many typhoons, I’ve lost count. As a kid, I was excited because there was no school (or electricity and sometimes no water). But as an adult with my own kids, they brought on a lot more worry. In Okinawa, the locals would drive around in the middle of a typhoon. you knew the storm would be bad when they went inside.

This is an original pen and ink drawing - part of my collection of work based on a list of prompts for Inktober 2020. Inktober is a free international drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. For each day in October, artists interpret a prompt in their own unique way.
