Inktober Day 9 - Throw
When I was in college, an exchange program brought over an amazing Japanese ceramics professor. He didn’t speak English, but would occasionally make puns related to both languages and crack himself up. I would try to speak Japanese with him and we became friends. He taught me how to throw a pot.
This is an original pen and ink drawing - part of my collection of work based on a list of prompts for Inktober 2020. Inktober is a free international drawing challenge created by Jake Parker. For each day in October, artists interpret a prompt in their own unique way.
